GERA’s vision is to help create, advocate for, and manifest a world in which every refugee, migrant, or displaced person receives the basic living necessities to ensure that they live a healthy and just life in accordance with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. GERA is a grassroots NGO directly engaging with and assisting the populations we are to serve, as laid out in our mission; whether that be in the United States of America or elsewhere around the world.
Beginning in early 2015, CWS Jersey City has fast become a center for the resettlement of refugees in diverse and vibrant communities across Northern New Jersey.
Though its Refugee Resettlement Program, CWS Jersey City provides comprehensive case management and employment services aimed at empowering newly arrived refugees to build a foundation for long-term self-sufficiency and success in the U.S. Services for refugees include basic needs support, case management, cultural orientation, health access assistance and intensive job preparation and placement services.
CWS Jersey City is also proud to serve the community at large providing citizenship education, immigration legal services and community education and engagement opportunities throughout the year.
PACC is a registered 501c3 nonprofit and tax-exempt organization. PACC is strictly a non-political and non-religious organization whose mission is to strengthen the local Palestinian American community and to provide social, cultural, educational, athletic and recreational activities. (need image)
